Anyone wishing to renew or express their interest in becoming a club member please complete this application form and/or contact us by email emyvale.cc.pro@gmail.com
All Emyvale Cycling Club members must also be members of Cycling Ireland.
Existing members who wish to renew their licence for 2023 can do so by clicking the below button.
Competition licences include personal accident insurance.

All members must abide by the following:

Consider the well-being & safety of participants before the development of performance.

Develop an appropriate working relationship with participants based on mutual trust & respect.

Make sure all activities are appropriate to the age, ability and experience of those taking part.

Promote the positive aspects of cycling (e.g. fair play, health & wellbeing).

Display consistently high standards of behaviour and appearance.

Follow all guidelines laid down by Cycling Ulster, Cycling Ireland & ECC.

Hold appropriate qualifications if acting in a coaching capacity.

Never exert undue influence over performers to obtain personal benefit, reward or results.

Never condone rule violations, cheating, or the use of prohibited substances.

Encourage participation, not just results.

Encourage & guide participants to accept responsibility for their own performance & behaviour.

Ensure that all members, including newcomers are welcomed into the club and given appropriate advice.

Be positive, approachable and offer praise to promote the objectives of the club at all times.

Assist at marshalling and stewarding events organised by ECC

Assist with the development of youth cycling within ECC

Assist and support fundraising within the club

Being separately (or jointly) involved in any one of more of the following activities shall be considered a serious breach: Bullying, sexual harassment, isolating, slandering, verbally abusing, assault or any form of discrimination towards any other club member.

All club members are to be treated equally by all other members.

No member shall partake in any action that brings ECC into disrepute.

Group cycling and training shall be courteous, non-aggressive, safe and should obey the rules of the road.

Members using social media in a private capacity shall ensure they portray a positive image of ECC
